I've taken my time before writing a review so see how my puppy got on with them.I've a small jackapoo 6 months old, chewing through everything with the exception of k.o.n.g.s although he has had a decent go of them too!These yaks are a decent chew, they last him a good month to wear down, every evening he is so obsessed.I don't know if i should have, so be careful, but a friend told me when it gets really small put it in the microwave, mine 17 seconds, and it blows up like popcorn. He finishes it off so no waste
These chews are nothing short of a lifesaver.I have a 12 week old Shih Poo puppy with teeth like needles and she has been steadily munching her way through my furniture like a termite on speed. I've posted a pic above of some drawers in my bathroom - this was after just a few short (human) trips to the loo where I thought "the dogs gone suspiciously quiet..."As you will know if you have a puppy, many chews aren't suitable for young dogs and although she likes the pedigree Tubos she finishes them in a day or so and gets bored of them too.I tried the Bella and Bounce ones from Amazon which were so expensive and lasted less than 5 minutes in her chomping waste disposal unit jaw.I'd seen these advertised but was loath to spend the money seeing as they are so dear. However, I'd seen one or two reviews compare them to the rawhide chews that I remember my dogs having as a kid (the ones they trail around the house for weeks getting steadily grottier) which was just what I was after ;-)Thankfully I wasn't disappointed. As soon as I gave one of these chews to Dolly she descended upon it joyfully and didn't look up for the next hour or so. I fully expected to find a miserable nubbin left mouldering where she had been gnawing but imagine my delight when the chew was practically the same size! She's now had it for a full week and although she's making some headway it's hardly much smaller than when I gave it her.I've included a pic of two chews next to each other for reference but in fact the chews in the pack aren't all the same size to begin with so it's not an exact science.As for me, I am hopeful that these chews will definitely reach Peak Grot as in days of yore and fulfil my nostalgic dog dreams.Tl;dr - If you have a dog that chews these are well worth the money!
I bought these as I was originally recommended to get my dog a Cheese stick when she was older. Well, my puppy likes to chew things so I started looking for chews for pups. Lo and behold, these come up in my search list and the reviews looked favourable. After looking at a review of a rather ravenous Shih Poo pup, I thought that this would be either a very expensive mistake or a great boredom breaker.So the bag arrives and the chews themselves are roughly 3 and a half to 4 inches long and about 2/3rds of an inch wide. Ideal for a small dog like a Shih Tzu. So I unpack one of the bars and hold it out for my girl to sniff. She tentatively sniffed and licked it. Then took a hold of it. She periodically picked it up and chewed it for the rest of the day. Since then its been about 2 days and so far theres no noticeable damage to the stick and she still enjoys picking it up and chewing on it.A side note: what I didn't bank on was how they would smell. Its a smoky smell that you tend to notice if within 2 feet of the chew and on your dogs breath. Now to me its not completely unpleasant, it just took a little getting used to. I havent noticed the smell transferring to carpet but you do get a bit on your fingers when you pick it up. Just something that might have been nice to know before I bought them, but wouldn't have stopped me either way I dont think.If in doubt, just get them and let your dog try them. You can always donate them to a shelter if your dog doesn't take to them as they come in a resealable bag. Convenient 👍
Both my daughters have got puppies recently a year apart and the first one recommended to her sister. The Labrador puppy is particularly ‘bitey’ and those teeth are razor sharp! Nell loves the yak chew and it really stops her chewing fingers and anything else she can get her hands on. Bought the small ones but will be moving on to the bigger ones as she does manage to grind them down and I don’t want her chewing on a small piece. Don’t worry if you see blood on it at first if you have a puppy this stops very quickly as their gums harden.
Wow!!!! I’ve never seen Chai so solely focused on one thing for such a long time!!I thought that there must be something wrong with the reviews because as a yak bar (as it comes) he chewed it a little but was not really interested!Then today I thought hmm maybe it’s just a little too hard for his little puppy teeth so I turned it into a cheesy puff following the instructions on the packet and OHH MY he LOVESSSSS IT 🫶👍🏼😍!Would highly recommend 🌟🤩
My dog loves loves the taste of the yaks they keep her entertained every where we go these ones are healthier than others as they contain only a couple of ingredients some contain quite a few ..i do think there is a slight smell on the occasional one but it’s nothing that puts me off buying them or the dog from eating them…I know they are only the small size appropriate 3 in x 1 in but I think the pack itself is good value she chews them for quite a while and when she’s got to almost the the end I pop in the microwave with a little oil to stop it from burning for 2 minutes and she loves that too.. UPDATE: my frenchie did enjoy it but one this small in this size only lasted half an hour !
I have tried different brands but i assure you that this one is the best in the market!!!With other brands, my dog did not like it or felt sick - but this one, my dog love it!!! Every delivery, my dog is waiting to receive one immediately!!I def suggest to everyone, if you love your dog then buy this brand immediately!!When i work from home, i give one stick to my dog and she is entertained for hour!!!

Unfortunately neither my pup nor my older dog took too much interest which was a bit disappointing but that’s why I just purchased the one chew too try. Maybe it was a little too big for my miniature breed

I have had the medium chews before for my yellow lab aged 8 months and they have kept her happy for at least an hour but ordered the small that I regret as she can chew through one in a very short time. Think big when you buy.
I’ve not given my puppy it as vet said it may crack her teeth unfortunately

My puppy has been chewing one of these for days now and it has barely gone down at all! It's good for when I'm working as it keeps her distracted for a while
My five dogs (chihuahuas) absolutely love these especially when they are microwaved as per instructions. However these are perceived, within our pack, to be of extremely high value when microwaved in to a delicious puffy treat. My dogs have never been possessive but these bones just tip them all over the edge 😆. Worth the money we will be buying more. You have been warned if you have more than one dog! 😊

My very small dogs love these chews, they are the perfect size for small dogs, they don't smell like some one will last my dogs about 2 days, great for getting teeth clean
but not mine who doesn't know how to or is just that lazy. Great size for popping in the microwave to puff up after the dog has nibbled the end and given up.
They can chew these for hours not sure with an aggressive chewer. Need to ensure you get right size for your dog.

This kept my rescue dog engrossed for hours. Of course they're not cheap but well worth it for a couple of hours a day. Supervision is recommended
