Jack loves these treats - he burys them under the sofa cushions for a later snack when our other dog is not around 🤣
My dog loves these yak chews. I cut them up into smaller pieces and put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds so they puff up; he likes them better that way. They are very large in size, so I can get quite a few chunks out of each stick.
Huge yak chews These are the dogs favourite, they chew in them for hours, cleaning their teeth and giving me a bit of peace and quiet in the process. They are top quality, the dogs went crazy for them from the packet coming out of the box, which tells me everything I need to know about how good they are.

My pup eats treats really quickly! So much , that I trawl the internet and go into pet shops , to find long lasting things for him. The HIMMALEH Yak Chews, come in X Large Size, which is rare. He has had, a Strawbery one and now eating one of a packet of 5! They last well over a week and you can even, turn the uneaten part into cheese puffs!! One happy customer.
Huge chews! Bigger than expected! Springer is delighted with his, bit heavy for chihuahua so will get him smaller next time. Nice chew to keep bigger dog occupied and he then buried it to go back for later!

Our dog absolutely loves these, and they'll last a couple of days. Large, thick, heavy chews. Just two in the pack. No really odour, and don't flake off onto your floor.
This yak hard cheese treat for dogs is good value for money and our dog and those of friends love it. Contents as per listing description. Once chewed down until not much is left I microwave them which makes them pop and increase in size a bit. No side effects observed.
This is a review of "Himmaleh Yak Chews for Dogs Extra large - Yak chews for dogs XL (pack of 2) - Dog Chews Long Lasting Natural - yak milk dog chew - Toothsome Yak Bars for Dogs - Himalayan dog chews - Yak Snack" I regularly order various brands of Yak chews from Amazon for my dog. He initially doesn't seem to know what to do when given a new one and will often hide it in his bed. When he does get around to chewing it, he gets hours of enjoyment from it. They are all-natural chews. These are much bigger than the size I usually get - obviously intended for bigger dogs. My dog still loves them. The downside here is the price - nearly 27 quid at time of review is a lot for two chews - but weight/volume wise they probably are on a par with the smaller ones. - - - - - - - - - - Note: As a member of the Vine program I was supplied with this item free of charge. You get 2 really big bars of these in a resealable pouch bag. It says Yak and Cow milk, salt and lime juice. They are minimum 52.8% Crude Protein and minimum 0.9% fat. I've seen these in the pet shop and these are definitely bigger (and much better value) than the ones we've seen. These are for medium and large dogs, not small or toy. Quality seems excellent. My pooch hadn't tried these before and he is picky, and he didn't take to these. Tried a few times and just sniffed and left. So we gave to our neighbour whose dog loves it. She has to take it away after a while so he doesn't eat the whole thing in one sitting. Should last a while so the equivalent of a couple of weeks of other treats. So removing one star because my dog turned up his nose. But others seem to love it.
These are a good size yak chew for medium to large dogs, they last well and have a good effect at keeping our dogs teeth in good condition, overall good value for money and ones that I would recommend.
Super dogs chews. These are excellent value compared to our local pet store! Our dog spends a LONG time chewing on these and they last around a week or so. Our dog loves the taste of these and will sit there for hours nomming on it. Recommended!
I have two whippets and they absolutely love these treats. I'm always careful about avoiding chews that are too hard, but these strike the perfect balance. Once they start to chew they soften up further and they can enjoy eating the soft bits that come off. These last well. I have raw fed (used to chewing bones) and these have lasted nearly a week! Great!
So these are quite expensive, you get 2 x chews in the resealable bag. They are big and thick so will definitely last along time for my dog. They don’t have a strong odour so I don’t have an issue with them lying around on the floor when my dog has had enough of them. It’s a great way of cleaning your dogs teeth as it does the job and he enjoys it. When I gave this to my dog he wasn’t sure about it, he left it for about 30 mins and then went back to it and then started chewing on it. It kept him busy for around an hour and then he decided he’d had enough and he’d hardly made an indent on the chew, so I will be giving this chew to him regularly as it will last a longtime. Overall a great chew but not all dogs seem to like them.
My German Shepherd loves these yak chews! They weren’t a long-lasting chew for her—gone in an hour or less—but she really enjoyed them. Plus, no upset tummy afterward, so I’d call it a successful treat!

I was looking for a natural and long-lasting chew for my big dog and decided to try Himmaleh Yak Chews. The extra-large size is perfect for a dog that loves a real challenge in his chew toys. These are a perfect treat for my pug, she absolutely loves these. They last a long time and they are all natural so you know what your dog is eating . They are pretty big sticks and I would say they would last a long time. And the bits in the end can be microwaved to create a puffed treat
I have a few dogs and I train dogs at a rescue centre, so I've had access to a few different ages and breeds of dogs to test these chews on. For the most part, dogs that are aggressive chewers love these hard sticks. If your dog likes to chop on toys or furniture, this would be great for them. From my experience, older dogs (who may have issues with their teeth) don’t like them. They’ll try to chew, then give up. I think it hurts their teeth. Puppies and younger dogs love them, provided they can fit the chew in their mouth. If they can’t get a firm bite, they’ll struggle and hopelessly give up, just like a teething baby. Some breeds are more taken to hard chews than others. Bigger dogs with more powerful jaws love these chews. These include Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Bull Dogs, Huskies, Great Danes. Other breeds aren’t aggressive chewers, so won’t be able to get their teeth into these or it will hurt their jaws to try. These include most small breeds and toy breeds. They still might like these chews, but they’ll benefit from ones that are smaller and thinner. The size guide on the product description gives a good indication of what size of chew to go for. The weight chart refers to the average weight of an adult of the dog breed. If the dog you want to give these treats to is overweight, match the size of the chew to the average weight of that breed. It’s intended to make it suitable for their jaw size. I would probably recommend going with a small pack size to test on your dog before committing to a bigger bag. These pouches provide good value for that purpose. Of the dogs that like to chew, they absolutely love this brand’s chews, so I would recommend them.
Well packaged - good size - dog really loves the taste
Both our dogs love Yak treats. Although we have smaller dogs(Jack Russell cross) we tend to go for the larger size as they are able to pick them up and carry them, and of course last longer. Keep an eye on them getting too small(at which point pop them into the microwave to inflate them and get an added bonus) as you wouldn't want them swallowing a chunk at the end. If there is only one negative with yak treats in general, is that they do leave lots of tiny bits wherever they've been chewing, think of them as Yak crumbs. If you haven't tried these treats before I whole heartedly recommend, our dogs love them. Priced at £14.99 for two(correct at time of review) I consider these ok value, but there are better value Yak treats out there if you search but £7.50 per stick is around average I think.

I was shocked at how big these yak milk chews were. They are certainly designed for bigger breeds. They are rock solid and gradually wear down as your dog chews them meaning the last for absolutely ages. They are great to just have laying around as a boredom breaker. Happy to recommend them.
A great 2 pack of yak chews. My dog loves the smell and taste. Kept him entertained for ages. It's nice that the end can be made into a cheese puff (instructions on pack). Good value thoroughly reccomend
