These yak chews come in a pack of three flavours ; peanut butter, blueberry and strawberry.
They’ve gone down well with my dogs ( dachshunds).
The peanut butter flavour is definitely the favourite in my house, although that’s hardly unexpected as they already love peanut butter treats.
The chews themselves are dense and long lasting, keeping my dogs occupied for quite a while rather than disappearing in minutes.
I like giving them one when I need them settled and entertained, finding them especially good to give them if I’m heading out for a bit.
As well as being good for my dogs teeth they’re also high in protein and calcium, so to me they feel like a better option than the softer treats which use grains.
Once the chews become small pieces, you can microwave them for around 20–40 seconds and they puff up into a light, crunchy treat that’s easier and safer for the dogs to finish.
I got these natural yak dog chews for my dog, he loves them, though there were a few things worth noting. I really liked that they’re made with all?natural ingredients , and are high in protein and calcium that actually supports his health rather than just filling him up.
My dog is a strong chewer, and one kept him busy for maybe twenty minutes.
One thing I did notice is there was blood on the chew from his gums but his teeth looked cleaner after just one.
We've tried some of these before and been left with slight colour stains on the carpet so I appreciate that they don’t stain anything.
These yak chews have been a massive hit with our dog. You get three different flavours and she absolutely loves every one of them. She’s a small to medium sized dog at around 8kg and quite an aggressive chewer, and these keep her occupied far longer than most treats we’ve tried.
We usually give her one for about an hour each evening and even with daily use they last around two weeks or sometimes longer, which makes them much better value than softer chews that disappear in minutes. She clearly enjoys the challenge of chewing them and it keeps her settled and entertained in the evenings.
One thing I really like is that there is no horrible smell from them and they have not stained our carpets at all. We also avoid rawhide, so it’s good to have a long lasting alternative that’s natural.
The best part is when the chew gets too small to safely chew, you can pop the remaining piece into the microwave and it puffs up into a crunchy treat. Our dog has now learned exactly what is happening when the microwave goes on and she sits waiting in the kitchen for it to cool down before she gets it back. She gets so excited for it.
The only thing I would say is that once they get quite small you do need to keep an eye on your dog until you microwave the end piece. Other than that these have been excellent and I would definitely recommend them for dogs that love long lasting chews and enjoy a proper challenge.
A great set of long lasting yak milk chews for your dog. These are decently sized treats, about 13x2x2.5 cm, although they are all slightly different in sizes. They are perfect for the occasional treat as, for our cocker spaniel, can take a day or two to actually work her way through one. She absolutely loves these, so they must taste good. We've given her two over the past couple of weeks and she loves to take them out into the back garden to lay in the grass and eat them. There seems to have been no adverse effects on her tummy as well which is great.
They are made from natural ingredients which is great, and are high in protein and calcium which is great.

Ordered these as part of the vine program for our three dogs - they have them quite regularily and pretty sure that the nugget left after the dogs are done with them is the modern day version of treading on lego in the dark when getting up from your bed!
Anyway, I digress, pretty much the standard size for medium yack stick of around 4 inch so great for small, medium and possibly some larger breeds that are on the smaller size. These stand out to the usual Yak chews as are flavoured, the pack containing one of each flavours. I'm not sure how dogs perceive flavours but i am sure for them will stand out some from the normal 'generic' yak sticks.
This review is for the pack of three Yak chews for dogs. If my dog could talk he would say nom nom nom especially to the peanut butter flavour although he also enjoys the strawberry and blueberry flavours too. They are really good for his teeth and help with the plaque and tartar problems as well as keeping him occupied for a good length of time. I like how they are made from 100% natural ingredients with no preservatives. There is no waste either as when the chew gets too small you can just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds amd it expands the chew and makes it crispy for them to finish off. The price tag for these St the time of ordering was on offer at £11.99 which is very good value for money

They help maintain his oral health by keeping his gums and teeth in top shape which is great. They're good value too. They're the perfect size for my strong jawed Old Tyme Bulldog.

My dogs love these yaks. They're quite small dogs so these are a perfect size. Obviously very tasty as my tibetan is extremely fussy. Hours of fun for them.
My dog Scooby loves yak chews, and these were an instant favourite. They last him a long time, but what really makes me smile is how he treats them like treasure — he’ll carry one to bed at night, then bring it downstairs again in the morning. It’s very cute.
This pack of three comes in different flavours, and the first one he tried was the blueberry. I was a bit worried it might stain the carpet, but there’s no colour run at all, which was a relief. He happily chewed away without leaving any marks behind.

My dogs are a pain when it comes to keeping them entertained with treats and chews so I thought that I would give these a go being intrigued by the favours available in this pay.
They are good sized yak chews which I would say are good for medium sized dogs, we have spaniels and they are a good size for them.
The peanut butter appears to be the chew of choice for both of ours and that has created another headache!!
The chews last well and certainly seem a favourite over the traditional plain yak chews.

These are excellent treats that our fox terrier loves. I have given them to him when I need him out from under my feet for a while as they last ages.

I ve tried my dog on yak treats before and he absolutely loves them, i decided to give him these as something a little different.
These yak treats are absolutely perfect for dogs that finish even 'long lasting' treats quickly. My dog can get through his usual treats in under 5 minutes in comparison these yak treats that he thoroughly enjoyed took him a great deal longer. Even after 3 or 4 days (he had the treat on and off during this time.) he had only just started to make some progress at this point but it was still there! Much to my surprise.
He absolutely loved this treat and it is definitely something that i will be investing in again in the future as it lasted him much much longer than even the 'long lasting' treats that cost a fortune yet seem to last just as long as any other treat. On the other hand i feel like these yak treats are definitely worth the money that you pay!

When the yak chews are almost finished, you can put them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they puff up to create a new cheese snack for the dogs, just be warned they do get very hot so let them cool all the way down.
